Dove Canyon is a private, guard gated community within Trabuco Canyon, located in a beautiful, secluded part of Orange County, California. With its tall trees, winding streams, and rocky cliffs, the canyon is a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers alike. However, Trabuco Canyon is also home to a number of historical sites. The most famous of these is the Trabuco Oaks Ranch, which was once owned by Spanish missionaries. Today, the ranch house is a museum that contains artifacts from the early days of the canyon's settlement. Visitors can also explore the remains of an old stagecoach road that ran through the canyon. Trabuco Canyon is a place where nature and history come together, making it a truly unique destination.
Trabuco Canyon Elementary School is the only public school in the canyon, and it serves students in grades K-5. The school has an average enrollment of just over 200 students, and its student-teacher ratio is 20:1. Trabuco Canyon Elementary School is known for its strong academic program and its commitment to environmental education. The school has a garden, and students often take field trips to the nearby Cleveland National Forest. Trabuco Canyon Academy is a private school that serves students in grades 6-8. You can expect to be treated with courtesy and respect no matter where you go. So whether you're looking for a casual dining experience or a more formal one, you'll be able to find what you're looking for in Rancho Santa Margarita. My personal favorite is Hanna's off of El Paseo. This steakhouse offers a classic style of ambiance, and amazing food and service, and was also voted one of the top 100 restaurants in the nation by Yelp. Many Dove Canyon residents consider this spot as the place to be where they can relax and enjoy the Orange County lifestyle. They also have a private wine room you can rent out and enjoy tastings or store your own private collection if you become a member.
One of my favorite parts of Dove Canyon is that the Homeowner's Association works diligently to make sure that there are tons of activities for the residents to partake. From Concerts in the beautiful community center, to fun events at the pool, they really put in work to bring the community together in a fun and safe way.
